Councillors on the Development Management Sub-Committee today unanimously rejected officials
London-based HUB Residential Ltd’s application to develop 73-bedroom purpose-built student accommodation at 26 Dunedin St (23/05027/FUL) has been refused. We first reported the case here.
Dunedin Street (Edinburgh) LLP proposes to build new purpose-built student accommodation with associated amenity space, cycle parking, landscaping and infrastructure on the site of a large modern garage and yard at 26 Dunedin Street (23/05027/FUL).
The plan is for 73 studio apartments across 6 storeys.

CA Europe Operating Company has taken its applications for town houses and student housing at 72–4 Eyre Place direct to the Scottish Government (22/03833/FUL; 22/03834/FUL).
