Hats off to the Edinburgh Evening News which on 17 January published a priceless parody of an unquestioningly reprinted Tesco press release. Alas, the author's name was not given.
However, his or her article bore a striking resemblance to a previous (anonymous) priceless parody of an unquestioningly reprinted Tesco press release published on 5 November 2010.
The newspaper's coruscating satire is to be applauded. We are fortunate to have such a guardian of high standards in our midst.
