In a recent post, we examined Scottish Labour's election flyer for the Edinburgh Northern and Leith constituency, and noted that of 19 recognisable faces in it, 12 were female and 5 Malcolm Chisholm's (Breaking news 13.4.11).

A regular correspondent on Twitter has now contacted us with a suggestion. She suspects the missing multitudes were behind the camera, probably making unhelpful suggestions about exposure settings and focal lengths.
