Now in its second year, DES 2019 celebrates the work of over 30 designers and artists, all of whom are exploring form, process and materials to create outstanding & indispensable functional objects such as tables, chairs & lights. Free exhibition from the Nak.Ed.Art Collective. Seventeen artists and a wide range of mood, style, media and subject matter.
'The Poet, the Songstress and the King's Composer'
'Chris and Clive Rickards perform songs, music and verse from the pens of Robert Burns, Baroness Caroline Nairne, and James Oswald. Focusing on women, from all strands of society, their stories weave a rich tapestry: sometimes funny, sometimes sad. All human life is there.' Admission free. All donations go towards the upkeep of Phoebe Traquair's murals. Shows start at 1.00pm and last about an hour.
