Submitted by Editor on

STILL. will be Braham's first solo show since 2005, and represents something of a coup for the two-year-old Union Gallery, where staff are already fielding enquiries about it from art historians, institutions and private collectors far and wide.

5 MAY 2011 – A DATE TO REMEMBER

Submitted by Editor on

The 5th of May 2011 is likely to go down in Scottish political history – and not just because it marked the first Holyrood election in which your humble correspondent was eligible to cast a vote, writes Peter Geoghegan. Submitted by Editor on

Two men have been assaulted and robbed in what Police say may be related incidents. Both incidents happened last night, and whilst neither victim was injured they were both left shaken.

The first robbery occurred in Montgomery Street at around 9.45pm. A man in his twenties was approached by two others who stole his MP3 and mobile phone before heading towards Leith Walk.

At 10.20pm, another young man in his twenties was followed onto an Elm Row stair, forced to the floor and robbed of cash and a bank card.
